Mine Sweepers, Sub-Chasers and Escort Vessels badge
A early war Schwerin Minesweeper badge in tombac. I love these early tombac naval badges. Very heavy and the firegilt finish almost glows. Very little of the finish remains on this late war zinc badge. The maker mark of R.K. is for the firm of Rudolf Karneth & Sohne, Gablonz. The brass pin is typical for this maker.
